Liver
Plus has been specially formulated as support for the liver.
It
contains the well-known Western herbs, Milk Thistle (standardized,
80% Silymarin), Dandelion Root and Blessed Thistle in addition to the
very effective Chinese herbs, Schisandra chinensis and Swertia
psuedochinesnsis. In order to obtain a maximum amount of active
compounds from the non-standardized herbs, we added the digestive
enzyme, cellulase. The herbs used in Liver plus predominantly act to
promote liver cell regeneration and also to protect the liver from
oxidant damage. One of the known active compounds in Milk Thistle is
Silymarin, which has been shown to protect the liver by scavenging
for free radicals (i.e. act as a potent antioxidant). Milk Thistle,
Schisandra Chinensis and Swertia Psuedochinesnsis have been shown to
promote liver cell regeneration, in addition to being very effective
anti-oxidants especially protective of the liver. Dandelion and
Blessed Thistle aid the liver by increasing bile flow. Much of the
waste products of liver metabolism are excreted in the bile, which is
subsequently secreted into the gut where it is excreted from the
body. Therefore, Dandelion and Blessed Thistle act to prevent buildup
of toxins in the liver.

Liver
Plus is manufactured to strict GMP
standards. It does not contain artificial colors, flavors,

Suggested
dose for adults:
